Part 1

What ICPulse is, and what it is not

ICPulse is an analytics service. It reads the public Internet Computer ledger and the public governance record, measures what is there, and presents the result.

Everything it shows is derived from data that is already public. The method behind every figure is described on the Methodology page.

ICPulse is not an exchange, a wallet, a custodian, a broker or a payment service. It never holds, transfers, exchanges or takes custody of any asset belonging to you or to anyone else. It will never ask you for a private key, a seed phrase, or a wallet signature that moves funds. If anything claiming to be ICPulse asks you for one, it is not us.

Part 2

Accuracy, and what a label is

ICPulse reports what it measured, in what window, and from which source. It does not warrant that any figure is complete, current, or free of error.

Blockchain data can be reorganised, an upstream source can fail, and a window can close mid-measurement. Figures are provided as they are, and the Methodology page states the known limits of each measurement rather than leaving you to discover them.

Some addresses carry labels, for example an exchange name, or a classification such as a router or an address that imitates another.

If you believe a label or a figure is wrong, write to [email protected] with what you believe is incorrect and why. Corrections are made where the evidence supports them, and they are published.

Part 3

Your account and your licence

You sign in with Internet Identity. ICPulse receives an anonymous identifier called a principal. It does not receive your name or your email from that process.

A paid plan is unlocked by a licence code. A code binds to the first principal that claims it. The code is yours: it is not to be shared, published, resold, or used by more than one person.

Internet Identity derives a different principal for every site origin, so a code claimed on one origin does not carry to another. Claim your code on app.icpulse.io and nowhere else.

If you lose access to the identity a code is bound to, write to support. Recovery is possible but it is a manual process and proof of purchase is required.

Part 4

Acceptable use

You may use ICPulse for your own analysis, including commercial analysis. You may quote figures from it and cite the service.

You may not:

• resell, redistribute or republish the paid data as a product, feed or dataset of your own;
• scrape the service, automate access to it outside a documented interface, or place load on it that degrades it for other users;
• share a licence code, or use one that was not issued to you;
• attempt to reach paid data without a valid licence, or to work around any access control;
• use the service to harass, threaten or defame any person, or present a label as an accusation;
• use the service where doing so would break a law that applies to you.

Where a code appears to be shared, ICPulse will contact the account before acting wherever that is practical.

Part 5

Alerts

Alerts are delivered through Telegram, to a chat you connect yourself. They carry addresses and they state what was measured, in what window, and where it came from.

A threshold you set applies on top of a global floor and can raise the bar, never lower it. Alerts are private to their recipient and are not published.

Part 6

Subscriptions and payment

Paid plans are sold and processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record and as the seller for the transaction. Your purchase, your receipt and your payment details are handled by them, under their own terms. ICPulse never receives or stores your card details.

Taxes are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record and are shown at checkout.

Part 7

Availability, and the free and paid tiers

ICPulse is provided on a best effort basis with no uptime commitment. Features can change, and a feature can be withdrawn or moved between the free and the paid tier.

Part of ICPulse is open to everyone and part requires a paid plan. The free tier includes a history window that ends before the most recent period, and the most recent data is part of the paid layer. Which parts are free can change, with notice.

If a paid feature you were relying on is withdrawn during a period you have paid for, write to support and it will be resolved fairly, including a refund of the unused part of that period where that is the right answer.

Part 8

Intellectual property

The underlying blockchain data is public and belongs to no one. The site, its design, its written analysis, its classifications, and the way the data is organised and presented are the property of ICPulse. Your licence is a right to use the service. It is not a transfer of ownership and it grants no right to redistribute.

Quoting a figure with attribution is fine and welcome. Republishing the dataset is not.

Part 9

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ICPulse is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, and is not liable for any loss of profit, loss of opportunity, trading loss, or indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service or from reliance on anything in it.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to it.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Part 10

Termination, and changes to these terms

You may stop using the service at any time.

ICPulse may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms. Where a paid plan is ended for that reason, no refund is due. Where access is ended for any other reason, the unused part of a paid period is refunded.

These terms can change. The version and date in the footer state which version applies. A material change is announced on the site before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new version.
